Carlisle British Blue females round up

Here are a few more of the leading female prices from yesterday’s sale of British Blues at Carlisle.

At 3500gns was Franks Daffodil Dream from D Whiteley and J Courts. This is an ET bred daughter of Gitan Du P’Tit Mayeur out of Blue Chip Tartan, a Belldale Reiver daughter. She was bought by Page Bros, Elkington, Northamptonshire.

Then at 3200gns was Franks Double Take from the same stable. This is an ET bred full sister to the Daffodil Dream and was taken by B W Stagg, Buttermere, Cumbria.

At the same price was Chalford Manor Debonairr from David Plested. This is a Brookfield Washington daughter out of High Hedleyhope Umbra, a Bringlee Freeman daughter. This one was bought by N B and I A Armstrong, Silloth, Cumbria.

And at 3100gns was Headlind Dancing Queen from Allan Jackson. This Salut 0601 De Sorinne daughter is out of Belgian dam Capsule De Saint Lambert and sold to R and R E Everitt and Son, Bishop Auckland.

Averages; 15 bulls ÂŁ4858, seven maiden heifers ÂŁ3150, one recipient with calf at foot ÂŁ2730 (Harrison and Hetherington).
