As previously noted the top call of 10,000gns was shared by two lots, the first being for Hartlaw Beatrice, a full sister to Ravenelle, mother of 46,000gns sire Wilodge Vantastic. This one sold to Messrs Smiths of Bloxham, owners of Vantastic.
The other at this level was Glenrock Utopia, she sold to Messrs Boden and Davies, Stockport, for what is believed to be a new pedigree Limousin herd to run alongside their pedigree Charolais herd and Texel flock.
At 7000gns, as previously reported was Glenrock Ursula, she also sold to Boden and Davies.
And at 5300gns was the best from the Newmeadows herd, Bailea Alexis. Bred by Brian Jones, Brecon, this one is by SSwan and out of Bailea Niobe, an Imposant daughter. She sold to J C Carroll, Street Drove, Somerset.
Then at 4200gns was another from Hartlaw, Rocky daughter Hartlaw Vienna. Out of Ruffland Pancake, Vienna sold with a bull calf at foot by Hartlaw Apollo, to D J Harrison, Wigton, Cumbria.
Next best at 4000gns was one from the Bapton herd dispersal, Bapton Susie. By Grange Linaria and out of Bapton Lucy, a Haltcliffe Gladiator daughter, she sold to J Connell, Wanton Wells, Lauder.
Two sold at 3600gns, both from Bapton. First up was Bapton Venus, a Gronw Scott daughter out of Bapton Lyric, a Haltcliffe Gladiator daughter. She sold with a Rombalds Triumph sired bull calf at foot to J Connell.
The second at this money was Bapton Vivian. Also by Scott this one is out of Bapton Ruth, a Grange Linaria daughter. This one sold with a Triumph sired heifer calf at foot, again to Mr Connell.
And at 3400gns was another from Glenrock. This was Glenrock Starlight, a Gunnerfleet Legacy daughter out of Glenrock Niagara. Sold with a Bremore Artist sired bull calf at foot she went to Messrs Boden and Davies.
