Cheshire Show 2011: Sheep interbreed championship

Today’s Cheshire Show looks like another wet one, however the sun is battling through the clouds and hopefully it won’t be too rainy for the interbreed classes.

The championships are starting at about 10.30 with the pigs, so I’ll put the results up as soon as I can. However the main sheep classes took place yesterday, with a Texel shearling ram walking home with the interbreed title.

This February-2010 born ram was put forward by Mr F Rushton, Freshfields, Matlock.

In the reserve spot was an aged Suffolk ewe from Mr G Biddulph, Dale House Farm, Macclesfield.
