Clarence Court sales up by 65%

Egg sales are up by 65% – compared with the last 12 months – at Clarence Court after it commissioned the renowned chef-director, Mark Hix, to create a series of seasonal recipes for its egg boxes.

Featured as inserts in the egg boxes and on the company’s website, Philip Lee-Woolf, founder of Clarence Court, believes that the recipes have been an integral tool in showing customers the different ways to enjoy eggs.

“With creative twists on classic dishes, he [Mr Hix] has highlighted how a staple ingredient can be perfect for both gourmet dinner parties and casual get-togethers,” said Mr-Lee Woolf.

As chef-director of Caprice Holding Ltd, Mr Hix oversees some of London’s most famous restaurants – from The Ivy and Le Caprice to J. Sheekey, The Rivington Grill and Scott’s

Mr Hix says: “What is so great about Clarence Court is that it’s all about egg quality not quantity.  Produced from specific farms so that you know their provenance, the eggs have a unique flavour and texture making them ideal for cooking and baking.”
