The largest entry of store cattle ever seen at Cockermouth sold to a top call of £1500 last Friday, for a Charolais cross from Wils and Neil Hardisty, How Hall. This one, sired by Farleycopse Telemarque, from an entry of 836, was bought by David Miller.

Champion in the pre-sale show was a Limousin cross heifer from Stanley Jackson, Nook Farm, which later sold for £1380 to John Bowe, Hunday Farm.cockermouth Champ26Mar2010.jpg Reserve champion was a Limousin cross steer from Andrew Race, Burnthwaite Farm, which sold for £1280 to James Chrichton, Loughrigg.
