Coolnaslee Charolais sell at 5500gns

Charolais females met a solid demand from a crowded ringside, selling to 5500gns in Dungannon Farmers’ Mart on Friday 6 June when Gilbert Crawford, offered 110 head from his Coolnaslee herd based at Maghera, County Derry.

 

Sale leader at 5500gns was Shoyswell Upperclass, a 2003 born cow bred by R Barnes (Farms) and sold with her six month old bull, Coolnaslee Clifton by the herd’s current senior sire, the 14,000gns Allanfauld Superscot. The buyer was Gordon Cutler, Florencourt, Enniskillen.
