Dairy results from East of England Show

Taking the championship in the Dexter classes this morning under judge Miss J Harvey was Stuart and Rosemeary Creasy with their cow in milk Langley End Nicotiana. Born April 2003, this one is by St dunstan Cider and is out of Elmwood Primrose. The reserve championship went to Mr B Cambridge with his heifer Honeycombe Daisy.

In the Holstein classes, John Westaway found his champion in the form of the cow in milk Pasturesnew Axion Chryst from J and S Arrowsmith. Reserve went to R Steeples with his heifer in milk Cramar Bkba Misha, an October 2007 born daughter of BKB Affirmed.

Jenny Daw was in charge of selecting a Jersey champion and she found it in Coldeaton Jersey’s cow in milk woodbine Ballerina Devotion, a September 2005-bron daughter of Masterberry jedi Knight. The reserve went to Pavenham jerseys with Pavenham Iben 9, a dry cow classified Ex94.

The any other dairy breed classes was won by Mr and Mrs W and J Murphy with their Gloucester cow Castlemast Cherry Pie 4619, while their heifer Castlemast Cherry Pie 4562 took reserve champion.
