Dungannon Limousins sell to 4000gns

Limousin trade at Dungannon on Monday saw prices reach a top of 4000gns, with the top price paid for the reserve overall champion from the pre-sale show, Craigatoke Decibull from Martin Conway. This one is a Haltcliffe Underwriter, a Sympa son and is out of Craigatoke Racy, a Haltcliffe Novel daughter. He sold to join W J McCaffrey, Ballygawley, Co Tyrone.

Craigatoke Decibull 4000gns.jpgA pair of bulls shared the next best price when selling for 3200gns. First to sell at this money was Larkhill Director from Brian McAuley. This one is by 30,000gns sire Wilodge Tonka and out of Larkhill Unette, a Jockey daughter. He sold to S Malcomson, Ballyward, Co Down.

At 2800gns was Sess Dino from M Buchanan. Dino is by French sire Rocky and  out of Sess Anastasia, a Grahams Samson daughter. He sold to M McConville, Warrenpoint, Co Down.

And two then sold at the next top price of 2700gns, with the first being Culnagechan Dynamite from Derek Hume. This Glenrock Vagrant son is out of Culnagechan Albany, a Ronick Hawk daughter. He sold to Sean Devine, Londonderry with a beef value of +22.

Second to sell at this money was Millgate Diesel from Michael Loughran and family. This son of Haltcliffe Underwriter has a beef value of +21 and is out of Craigatoke Lilly, a daughter of Strathallan Emperor. He was bought by Ray Jordon, Tullyusk, Co Antrim.

Top sale in the females on offer was a 2400gns bid for the reserve female champion from the pre-sale show, Lenagh Elegance from Mark Stewart. This March 2009-born heifer is by Ampertaine Abracadabra and out of Lenagh Babe, a Glenrock Spartacus daughter. She sold to Joe Henry, Antrim.
