Dungannon Lims top 3200gns

The annual April sale of Limousin bulls organised by the NI Limousin Club held last week saw two bulls topping trade at Dungannon at 3200gns.

The first of these was the December 2005-born show champion, Stonecircle Anthony, a bull showing great promise, by Uchon, a Duphin son out of a Baronne daughter shown by J and A Mallon of Cookstown. Purchaser at 3200gns was E Tohill of Kilrea.

Stonecircle%20Anthony.JPGAt the same figure was the intermediate champion, Kendrom Arthur by Homebyres Oxton and out of a Broadmeadows Ainsi daughter, forward by David Kenwell, Dromore, Co Tyrone, who sold to the Loane Partnership of Letter, Fermanagh.

Ballygawley-based P J Donnelly realised 2700gns for his second prize winning senior bull, Redergan Arnie by Mas Du Clo out of Carwin Slender, which sold to Cloghey Dairy Farm, Newtownards.

Tom and Lan Clyde, Antrim sold Millwater Apache, a Cloughead Lord son out of a Millwater cow to Tom Harrison, Portadown for 2400gns.

Henry McCracken, Ballywater, sold Seaview Apollo, a Ronick Hawk son out of a homebred cow to Norman Bell, Cookstown for 2000gns.
