Dungannon Texel females reach 3800gns

Texel females sold on a bouyant trade at Dungannon last Friday evening when the trade reached a top call of 3800gns for a Douganhill McFly daughter from Alistair Gault. This on is a full sister to 28,000gns sire Forkind Nijinsky. She sold to D Taylor, Coleraine.

Then at 3600gns was the pre-sale show champion from John Trimble. She’s by Ballydonaghy Nijinsky and out of a Forkins ewe. She sold to the pre-sale show judge Charlie Boden, Cheshire.

At 3000gns was the best from Brian Hawthorn, Tyan. This Tamnamoney Navvy daughter was reserve female champion and is out of a Cornerstone Isaac daughter. She was bought by C and D Seaman for their Gorteen flock, Eniskillen.

Going to a new home at 1600gns was the fourth placed shearling ewe from the pre-sale show. This Ballynahone Nirvan daughter was claimed by P Hughes, Dungannon. Alistair Gault sold a brace at 1300gns to the same buyers.
