Top call at Saturday’s production sale from the Dyfri Limousin herd was a 15,000gns bid for eight year old cow Dyfri Treasure. This one is a daughter of Jockey out of Dyfri Nectar. This fifth calver sold with a beef value of +38 and in-calf to Wilodge Cerberus and was bought by T B Griffiths, Carmarthen.Dyfri Treasure.JPGSecond best female price was a 4400gns bid for Dyfri Vogue, a six year old cow by Pantin out of Dyfir Jasmin. She sold in-calf to Ironstone Brandy and with her November 2009-born heifer calf at foot. She also went to Mr Griffiths.

Selling at 4000gns was Dyfri Ultrasonic, a Jockey daughter out of Dyfri Julie. Sold with her third claf at foot, Dyfri Fanciful, a Wilodge Vantastic daughter, she went to Tom Pearson for the Forge herd.

Then making 3800gns was second calver Dyfri Beaujolais, another by Pantin, she is out of Dyfri Nouvelle, a granddaughter of Tanhill Toujour and has a beef value of +26. In-calf to Dyfri Adam, she sold to W I M and G E Price for the Willgill herd.

Best in the bulls on offer was a 10,000gns bid for Dyfri Adam. Used as stock bull at home in the last few years  and with a couple of Royal Welsh bull titles to his name, Adam is by Nectar and out of Dyfri Princess, a Jockey daughter.
