Early Bankdale Limousin highlights

Today’s dispersal of the Bankdale herd of Limousins for Gordon Wilson has got off in fine form with a 20,000gns the highlight of the early lots. This was given for Bankdale Annette (lot 33), a Nenuphar daughter out of Tirette, a Niagara daughter. this 2005-born cow was sold with her heifer calf at foot, Bankdale Georgette, an Ironstone Colonel daughter. She sold to Procters Farm, Clitheroe.Bankdale Annette 20000gns.jpgAt 15,000gns was Bankdale Alice, the Sympa daughter which is dam of 38,000gns bull from May Bankdale Exfactor. She is out of imported cow Princesse, a Nickel daughter and has a beef value of +37. She was sold having been served by Ironstone Colonel in October and AI’d to Vantastic on the same day. She has also been flushed three times previously and sold to Mike and Melanie Alford, Tiverton, Devon.Bankdale Alice 15000gns.jpgMaking 5000gns was Bankdale Anneka, another 2005-born cow. This one is by Nectar and is maternal sister to Alice, also being out of Princesse. She sold with her heifer calf Bankdale Farrah at foot, another by Colonel and was in calf to Colonel again. She sold to D W Barker, Scorton.

And at 4200gns was Bankdale Verona, a 2004-born Teviola daughter again out of Princesse. This one sold with a Colonel served heifer, Bankdale Grace, at foot and having run with Colonel again since 22 May.
