Early Grey Peel Texel prices from Carlisle

Selling is underway at Carlisle for today’s sale from the Grey Peel Texel flock with trade steady so far.

Leading the prices at the moment is a 1500gns bid for a Tophill Nockout daughter, HMF09271. This shearling is out of a dam by Glenside Loneranger and has an index of 216. She sold having been served by Knock Papoose.Second best so far is a 900gns sale for a Grougfoot O-Ya-Dancer daughter out of a dam by Antur Jensen. This one, HMF09243, is also a shearling and has an index of 251. She was served by Grey Peel Rocket.

Then at 700gns was the first lot in the ring, HMF09221, a Cambwell Osprey-sired shearling out of a dam by Antur Jensen. This has an index of 279 and is in-lamb to Knock Papoose.
