As promised here are the early Limousin bull results from this morning’s judging. I’ve only had chance to catch a few classes, but there’s a strong show of bulls here and my pick so far would be Goldies Crackerjack, a Goldies Terrence son with an EBV of +41. He’s a good clean bull with plenty of backend and a solid top too.

Leading the way in the first of the senior classes was David Work with Dumbreck Cantona, a son of Greenbank Star, whiel second in this class was Jim Logan with Homebyres Cameron, a Homebyres Vanhee son.

David Work also took the second class with Dumbreck Champion another Greenbank Star, while second was Dougie Graham with Burnbank Chico, a Grahams Tycoon son.

In the third class Michael Massie with Elrick Candidate a Ryedale Paragon son, second here was John Burnett with Spittalton Creator a Middledale Shergar son.

The fourth class was taken by Breconside Farming with Breconside Colonel, a Newhouse Sugar son. Second was Clury Centurian from William Cruikshank. This one is by Sultan and out of Middledale Ripple.

Aside from these class winners the other string that’s caught my eye is the Bailea string from the Jones family.
