Early Royal Highland Show beef results

Here are the early results from the beef breeds judging here at Ingliston this morning. Taking the Blonde championship was Sean Kennedy with his heifer Newpark Dominique. This is by Overton Armidale and out of Broomley Vanessa. TS RHS Blonde Champ.jpgStanding reserve here were G and A Hamilton with their heifer Ramrig Dior, this is a Ardmore Upgrade daughter out of Ramrig Athena.

In the Limousins the championship went to the Dick family’s Ronick herd with their cow Ronick Velcro. This 2004-born cow is a Ronick Rascard daughter out of Ronick Signonia.TS RHS Lim Champ.jpg Reserve here was the reserve female champion and junior female champion Grahams Edna, this is by Grahams Alexander and out of Grahams Trendy.

Taking the Hereford championship was A C Nesbitt Farms with their senior bull Romany 1 Captain. He is a Crickley 1 Figurehead son and is out of Romnay 1 Julia 41. He was bred by the Wilson family at Kelso. TS RHS Hereford Champ.jpgAnd the Wilson’s had the reserve with their heifer Romany 1 Dawn, a Baybridge 1 Atlas daughter out of Romany 1 Dawn L46.

In the Charolais the championship went to John Morris with Olrig Dubarry, a Maerdy Impeccable daughter out of Maerdy Alien.TS RHS Char Champ.jpg Reserve here were the Ridley family with their bull Goldies champion, this is a Goldies Uppermost son out of Kinclune Pipper. This was bred by Hamish Goldie.
