Babybeef native champion

 

Winning the native baby beef champion title thismorning was the homebred Aberdeen Angus cross steer Blackcroft Banarang, bredand exhibited by Michael Kirby, from Devon.

 

In reserve was Arfon Jones’ homebred beef shorthorncross Super S, from Anglesey. 

Eastof England Class

 

Standing in champion position in the East ofEngland class was J and S Wareham’s Limousin cross heifer Jessie J, fromTottingtworth Farms, East Sussex.

 

In reserve was T A and L C Lyon, Lincolnshire, withtheir September 2011-born steer Rob Roy, which was awarded the reserve championsteer ticket yesterday.

Babybeef continental champion

 

It was ladies’ day in beef ring with the baby beefcontinental champion going to Jonathan Lyon with his 10-month-old continentalchampion heifer Temptation.

 

In reserve was the Charolais cross Molly Malone,exhibited and owned by Donald Macpherson,Argyll, born in February 2012.
