In champion position was a pair of homebred Suffolkcross Beltex lambs from Messrs Stewart, Roxburghshire.

In reserve was Messrs Wakeham-Dawson and Harmer,with a pair of homebred Southdown pure bred lambs.

Winning this class was Messrs Wakeham-Dawson andHarmer, with another pair of homebred Southdown purebred lambs.

 

Championcontinental lambs and best pair of lambs bred by exhibitor

 

Then sweeping the board in the continental andhomebred championship was last year’s supreme winners LE and D S Wadland, fromNorthhats, who took both champion trophies with their homebred pair of BlueTexel cross Texel ewe lambs.

 

Taking both reserve titles were Sara and SteveGibbons, from Herefordshire, with their pair of purebred Beltex ewe lambs, bred and exhibited by theduo.

They were automatically crowned champion in thecontinental pure bred class.
