There was an electric trade at the High Peak Livestock Society Store Cattle and Store sheep sale at Bakewell on Friday.

The largest entry in the sale was from Mrs M Mosley and Sons of Matlock comprising no fewer than 146 Charollais and Limousin steers and heifers.

The first three pens of Charollais – mostly steers of 9-10mths – sold at £1,040, £1,040 and £1,050 and the first three pens of Charollais x heifers were £810, £810 and £810.
