Five more sires sexed

RESPONDING TO increased demand, Cogent Breeding have added five sires to their sexed semen range, now totalling 15.

Among the new recruits is Aquila Patron Lucente, who ranks in the top 0.5% of breed for type merit (daughter pictured). Other additions includes Matisse, Classic, Conway and Summit, all prized for their specific attributes.

Matisse is considered a strength-builder, while the clean boned Classic daughters are fantastic cubicle-system cows, says business development manager Richard Williams. Sexed semen for the five bulls costs between 36 and 43 (01244 622 057; fax 01244 620 373).
