Their October 2012-bred Absolute Goldwyn Adeen is out of the Durham sired Lavenham Adeen. Buyer was Richard Godber for his Knowlepark herd in Nottinghamshire.
The Gould family from Shropshire sold Woodmarsh Wyman Melody 3rd at 6100gns to George Sanderson, Preston, Lancashire. She’s out of a heavy milking Shottle dam with a best of 18,333kg in 305 days.
Buxton, Derbyshire vendor Y K Bradbury sold Peak Sid Rhapsody at 4800gns. She’s out of the Goldwyn sired Peak Gold Rhapsody and goes to Worcestershire based Richard Bown.
Bassingthorpe Leedham C Seisme Red – a July 2012-bred daughter of MD-Valleyvue Gold Chris – was consigned by G H Harrison and Sons and R and S Kirk, Grantham, Lincolnshire. She’s out of Morsan Roseroyc Seisme Red and made 4800gns to Drointon Farms.
Bill Nadin offered an October 2012-bred heifer by Riverdane Roses Reflection from his Sterndale herd in Derbyshire. Sterndale RR Promis Red made 4500gns to Lizzie Miles, Northallerton, North Yorkshire. Also bound for Northallerton was Brockafield Sudan Marie from A Robson, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire. Out of a Goldwyn dam going back to Hilltop Tab Q Marie, she sold to R J Morley at 4300gns.
Sahara Epic Fleur, from Monmouthshire-based Sahara Holsteins, goes to J and R Lewis, Sandbach, Cheshire at 4000gns. She’s out of the 37,000 Euros cow Apina Fleur who is by Oman.
Bilsrow Wyman Marie from A Robson goes at 4000gns to David and Sheila Tomlinson’s Bilsrow herd at Bilsborrow, Preston. This October 2012-bred heifer is out of the 11,000gns Smiddiehill Shottle Marie.
