Limousin cross takes Newark and Notts commercial title

Taking the commercial cattle title at this weekend’s Newark and Notts Show was Elfed Williams June 2008-born Limousin cross steer Teddy. This one tipped the scales at 425kg and had one his steer class under judge Paul Tippetts before going on to take the overall commercial title.

In reserve spot were Mike and Jean Dickens, Milton Keynes, with their Limousin sired heifer Stop Me. She weighed in at 525kg a full 100kg heavier than her conqueror and was born in January 2008.
