Limousin Show 2012: Championship Results
The overall championship title has been awarded to Junior male champion Dolcorsllwyn Fabio (Lot 287) from G P Vaughan and Son.
The September 2010 born bull also won the overall best homebred bull award in the North West Midlands and North Wales Limousin Club’s competition in 2011. Fabio is out of Mas du Clo dam. Judge Gary Swindlehurt commented; “The overall champion was correct, had a good top line, was strong and well fleshed over the plates. Its clean at the front end and not too deep.”
Reserve junior male champion went to lot 274 Ampertain Foreman from Messrs McKay with a beef value of + 40. Ampertain was awarded Best Young Bull in the Northern Ireland Herd Competition in 2011.
The Intermediate male champion went to May 2010 born Bailea Flint from Mr M T Jones’ (Lot 154) with Mr Derek Hume’s Culnagechan Fantastic (Lot 165) taking award the reserve champion.
Senior Male Champion was awarded to Culnagechan Fieldmarshall Montgomery (Lot 117) from Mr Derek Hume with a beef value of +35. Judge Gary Swindlehurt awarded the reserve title to Lot 112 Wilodge Firefly from C Williams t/a D A Williams.
