As onlookers jostle for position on the rostrum side of the livestock arena, the events panel of six breed judges have made their pivot decision and crowned the Ayrshire in-milk cow and seventh calver from ET Tomlinson – Sandyford Clover 10 – as Supreme Interbreed Champion with a score of 58/60 from the panel of seven individual breed judges.

By KC Roses Chatter T Red and out of Sandyford Clover 7, she has returned to the show scene after being retired once and is kept in isolation to avoid TB restrictions, explained owner and handler Blaise Tomlinson who collected the RABDF Perpetual Challenge Trophy.

“She’s giving 45kg a day at 4.5% butterfat and 3.4% protein. She’s just a lovely cow to handle,” said a clearly delighted Mr Tomlinson.

Into Reserve went S & S Murray’s in-milk cow Trecanda Vindication Lily, the April 2006-born female by Vindication CJCC and out of Trcanda December Boys Lily.
