British Seed Houses has produced a guide detailing the nutritional composition of grass. The publication was developed in partnership with IBERS after farmers expressed a growing demand for more information on home-grown forage.
The “quick and easy” guide highlights the key components of grass, explains how they can influence performance, and provides pointers on how farmers can achieve targets.
It is hoped the guide will bridge the knowledge gap and promote the nutritional values of fresh grass among livestock farmers.
