Livestock 2013: Igloo calf housing keeps the chill out
Joff and Emma Roberts have recently launched two product lines to add to their already well-established Calf Igloo range.
The first is a mobile calf veranda, which provides cover to the feeding area.
Designed to fit alongside the hutch, it comes on wheels so can be easily moved for relocation and clean out, and doesn’t require planning. There are multiple options for feeding, including 14 feeding places and stainless steel tilting troughs.
The next new product is a Calf Garden – a mobile roofing structure, which can be added to the end of the Veranda to provide a sheltered workspace for staff.
The price for the Veranda starts at £3,500, while the Calf Garden costs £1,000.
