Major Gibb’s Shorthorn hits 6500gns

Major Gibb’s Beef Shorthorn bull Glenisla Athos caught the ringsider’s attention with a flurry of bids resulting in a 6500gns sale.

Next in was Danny Wyllie with his stylish entry Tamhorn Admiral, this one, but Bilsdale Wellington sold at 3000gns to Gerald Turton.

Then came the entry from L E P Farms with Simon Farmer watching on as Meonhill Apollo sold for 2200gns.

After that the Landers sold Cairnsmore Achilles Prince at 3000gns to Mr Mitchell, Hawick. The next, from the same home, Cairnsmore Angus sold at 2000gns to Terry Coghill, Orkney.
