Continuing the strong run of prices at today’s Bankdale Limousin dispersal was a 5000gns call for Bankdale Boo, a Nenuphar daughter out of Pomeraine, a Lacheur sired dam. She sold with a bull calf by Colonel at foot and in calf to Colonel again. She went to the Alfords.

At 6000gns was Bankdale Countess (lot 53). This Oslo sired cow is out of Princesse, dam of several of the early price setters and sold with a bull calf by Colonel, Bankdale Gerrard. This was taken by W J Bird, Tadcaster.

Following that at 5500gns was Bankdale Chanel, a Sarkley Volt daughter out of Bankdale Alice, the 15,000gns cow from earlier in the sale. She has a beef value of +22 and sold having been seen served on 23 September last year by Colonel. She also headed to Devon with the Alfords.

And selling for 7200gns was Bankdale Dominique (lot 63). She is by Oslo and out of Pomeraine, dam of 5000gns Boo from a few lots earlier. Selling with her heifer calf by Saphir at foot, Bankdale Gaga, she has run with Colonel since 22 May. Buying her was James Tennant.
