After a quiet spell, ram lamb trade is continuing well with Rhaeadr kevin from Myfyr Evans taking a bid of 5100gns. By Parkgate Hurricane, this December 09-born lamb is full brother to a tup sold at the 2008 sale for 1200gns.

The reserve champion from the sale Tawelfa Knockout, a December 2009-born lamb from Mr P G Amphlett has sold at 2000gns. This one is by southam Exotic.

Next in the money was a ram lamb from Mr P A Thomas who sold for 7000gns.

By Penrhos Ibanez, who was bought at Welshpool Premier Sale for 3500gns, his dam bred one that sold for 2000gns at Worcester last year. Mr Thomas’ next and another by Ibanez sold for 2800gns. This one was awarded the overall championship. 

This lamb’s dam is a high index daughter of Southam Flagship, champion male at the Royal Welsh in 2006.

Leading the female offering was the overall champion and last in the catalogue, a ewe lamb from Peter Vaughan which sold for 2000gns. Kings Land Katrina is out of a dam who bred the 3000gns Kings Land Impeccable and the 3500gns Kings Land Indestructable.
