Neil Slack takes Agri-Expo Baby Beef title

Following on from his success at Countryside Live last weekend, Penrith-based Neil Slack has added today’s Baby Beef championship to the Baby Beef title he won at Harrogate.

Winning the title was Alfie, the same homebred Fieldson Alfie son as took the top award at Countryside Live. This one, born in March is out of a Limousin cross dam and weighed in at 350kg.TS Agri.Expo Baby Beef Champ.jpgReserve overall was heifer Miss Dynamite from Andrew Richardson and Jennifer Hyslop. This Limousin cross is by Allanfauld Cracker and out of a Charolais dam and was bred by Archie MacGregor, Allanfauld. She was bought from the Caledonian suckled calf sale for £2000.
