CHANGES TO the withdrawal period for Janssen Animal Health’s sheep anthelmintic Ovitelmin S & C should be applied immediately despite existing product labels, says the company.

In a letter to Vet Record, Janssen says the meat withdrawal period has been extended to 16 days. Additionally, the product should not now be used for sheep producing milk for human consumption.
