A UK-wide project set up to look at the role of faecal egg counting in both sheep and cattle management is looking for farmers willing to participate.

The project, PARASOL, will involve farmers using a FECPAK to carry out their own faecal egg counts.

It aims to assess whether using the system will reduce the amount of anthelmintic treatments to determine the effect on animal performance.

Farmers wanting to participate should contact Eurion Thomas at Innovis 01970 828 236 or ert@innovis.org.uk
