RABDF looks to enter talks over new body

RABDF is prepared to enter talks to create a new body representing either the dairy sector or the livestock industry provided such a move would create a sustainable and profitable dairy farming sector.

RABDF chairman Lyndon Edwards said RABDF would be prepared to be subsumed into a bigger and more effective national body. “We continue to work closely with other industry bodies to avoid duplication and have mentioned the possibility of creating a larger more efficient body on a number of occasions.”
