A run of solid prices rounded up the last Aberdeen Angus sale at Perth with bids of 9000gns and 12,000gns coming close to the end.

Selling at 9000gns was Wedderlie Eboross, an Aynho Rossiter Eric son from the Campbell family out of HF Dreamstreet sired dam Wedderlie Ebolass. This one sold with a TSI of +22 and an SRI of +38.

At 12,000gns was another from Wedderlie, this time Wedderlie Black Market, who sold to join Angus Stovold’s Rosemead herd, Surrey. This one is again by Rossiter Eric and is out of Tui Blackbird, a Kruggerand of Donamere daughter. This one had a TSI of +26 and an SRI of +36.

Overall the Angus achieved a highly impressive average and clearance, with 129 of the 141 forward selling, leaving just 12 unsold, including the overall champion, which was passed by at 12,000gns. The average was a mighty £4921.
