Yesterday’s small selection of Limousin bulls at Ruthin met a healthy trade with the sale topping at 3600gns for the champion from the pre-sale show, Medrad Cynnan from Messrs Hughes and Co, Llangwm. This one is by Tyddyn Taff, a Cloughhead Lord son, and out out Medrad Randy, which goes back to Gigolo.

Then at 3100gns was Alwen Caio from T L I and C P Wynne, Llanfihangel. By Ronick Hawk, Caio is out of Alwen Val which is in turn a Scorboro regis daughter and goes back to French sire Filip.

Close behind at 3000gns was another from Messrs Hughes, Medrad Canton. Again by Taff, he is out of Medrad Olwen a Normande Bismark daughter with French sire Atout in her back pedigree.

And at 2500gns was another Alwen entry, Alwen Caron. Sired by Bailea Spunkie, a Marron son, Caron is out of Rathkeeland Jodie daughter Alwen Rachel.
