Select Hereford entry to 3,250gns at Dungannon

A select entry of Hereford bulls sold with confidence at Dungannon Farmers Mart with prices topping at 3,250 guineas. Enjoying a good day’s trading was David Wilson who scooped both the Supreme Champion and Reserve Champion spots with bulls from his Lisrace herd.

HereC.jpgJudging was in the capable hands of Des Kelly who chose Lisrace Linesman 111 as his Overall Champion. In reserve position was his team mate “Lisrace Leiutenant which notched up 2,600gns in the sale ring. Both of these bulls were sired by the Irish bred “Castledaly Crusader” who is out of the popular Churchill Storm.

 

HerRC.jpgOnly one bull failed to meet its reserve at the Spring Show and Sale which saw bulls return an average of £2,720.
