The second bull the day’s overall champion Meonhill Highland Centurion from LEP Farms has come under the hammer, selling at 12,000gns to the Massie family, Blelack. This is by Eionmor Highlander and out of Blythsome Jessica, a Chapelton Nimrod daughter  He has a TSI of +14 and an SRI of +7.

Then the day’s overall champion Alvie Connor sold at 11,000gns. This is a Hurtiso Young Blood son out of Cairnsmore Your Lovely, a Fearn Scotsman daughter. He has a TSI of +13 and an SRI of +12.The sale of Shorthorns got underway here with the best price until then a 4200gns call for Mountbenger Chris from Messrs Irving. This one by Glenisla Zigzag is out of Hallsford Butterwrt 2, a Tugby Lucky George daughter. He sold with a TSI of +11 and an SRI of +13.

Following that at 5500gns was Tamhorn Crusader, a Trunley Barley son out of Cairnsmore Whitney, a Cairnsmore Nike Sportsman daughter. He sold with a TSI of +17 and an SRI of +16.

Then came the reserve overall champion, Chapelton Clansman from Donald Biggar. This is by Cavans Yankee and out of Chapelton Duchess, a Chapelton Welcome daughter. With a TSI of +24 and an SRI of +18 he went to the Horrell family, Peterborough for the Podehole herd at 10,000gns.

After that Glenisla Clansman from Major Gibb, a Glenisla Zambezee son out of Glenisla Sally Broadhooks, a Glenisla Noble daughter, sold at a healthy 9000gns. This has a TSI of +15 and an SRI of +22.
