Here are the show results and pictures from the Dungannon Texel sale which is taking place today. I’m afraid I’ve got no news of the sale so far. Judge for the show was Charlie Boden of the Sportsmans flock.

Taking the championship was one of the breed’s rising stars Martin and Cyril Millar, with their tup lamb Millar’s Professor. This is a son of 10,000gns purchase Cambwell OBE and out of dam by Corrie Lancelot. He has an index of 246.

Reserve overall was a shearling ram from Graham Foster, Springhill Onslow. He’s by

Ballynadrenta Nicefella and out of a dam by Klonallon Klass.

Winning the performance recorded ram lamb class was Stuart Mackey with Dunmore Pacman a Curley O’Kelly son out of a dam by Allanfauld Limited Edition.

Female champion was from John Trimble’s Curley flock. This one was by Ballydonaghy Nijinsky and out of a dam by Grougfoot G and T.

And reserve female champion was from Brian Hanthorn, Tynan. This one is by Tamnamoney Navvy and out of Cornerstone Isaac.
