Bluefaced Leicester females sold to a high spot of £750 at Skipton on Wednesday, with the top price claimed by Ellis Brothers of Ilkley with a ewe hogg.

This one, which had been champion in the pre-sale show is by a homebrd tup and out of a dam by a Kirkby Redgate sire. She sold to A P Percival, Haworth.

Selling at £600 was an in-lamb ewe from Ashley Caton, Otterburn. This one is by a Bull and Cave sire and was carrying lambs by Midlock X2. She went to G and G Schofield, Buckden.

Then making £480 was an in-lamb ewe from John Stott, Chipping Preston. This one by an Oak House tup was bought by D I Holliday, Clapham.

Following that at £450 was a ewe hogg from Ashley Caton which went to J C and N Troup, Draughton. This was sired by Midlock X2.
