Mule ewe lambs sold to a high of £150 at yesterday’s second NEMSA sale at Skipton, with this top price claimed by the Throup family with their second prize pen from the pre-sale show.

Next best was a £140 bid for the pre-sale champions from Ashley and Rachel Caton. Selling at £140 were the first pen of 20 from A Lodge Malham Moor.

The entry ,890 lambs forward produced an overall selling average of just over £90, an increase of £18.05 on the corresponding sale last year.(Craven Cattle Marts).
