Stirling Beef Shorthorn female championship awarded

The first of the Beef Shorthorn judging has been completed here at Stirling with the female championship awarded.

Taking the ticket was Lowther Melody Maker from Charles Lowther. This one is by Chapelton Transatlantic and out of Newfield Melody, a Chapelton Eclipse daughter. She is in calf to Blelack Minstrel and has a TSI of +2 and an SRI of +6.

Reserve overall was Podehole Hermione Bella, from Charles, Sally and Harry Horrell. This one is a Trojan of Craigeassie daughter out of Derryage Pleasant Hermione, an Uppermill Ray daughter. She has a TSI of +12 and an SRI of +11.

These two both came from the first class, top ticket in the second class went to Cairnsmore Bonnie Tulip from the Landers family. She’s by Uppermill Michael and out of Dunsyre Wild Tulip, a Sutherland Bundaberg daughter. She has a TSI of +12 and an SRI of +13. Second in this class was Rosewood Rosie 5 of Skaillhouse. This one is from Messrs Macadie and is by Uppermill Farquharson and out of Rosewood Rosie 2 of Skaillhouse.

In the third class the leader was Millie Floss 6 of Skaillhouse, another Upermill Farquharson daughter out of Millie Floss 2 of Skaillhouse, a Chapelton Fulcrum daughter. Second here was Tofts Beauty from Playfair Farms. She’s by Tofts Tchaikovsky and out of Tofts Beauty Princess.
