Yesterday’s sale of Charolais bulls at Stirling saw a top price of 5500gns paid for Thrunton Donatello from the Campbell family, a Burradon Talisman son out of Thrunton Uniroyle, a Mowbraypark Orlandon daughter.

Selling at 4800gns was Allanfauld Daviegray from Archie MacGregor. This is by homebred sire Allanfauld Vangogh and out of Allanfauld Vini, a Mortimers Roselier daughter.

A pair then made 4500gns, the first of which was Harviestoun Denver from L Poett. This Ravensworth Unwin son is out of Harviestoun Stella, a Blelack Navigator daughter.

The other at this price was Midlock Dragon from the Wights. This Allanfauld Voltage son is out of Midlock Brownie, an Inverlochy Upbeat daughter.

And four then sold at 4000gns. First to trade at this level was Westcarse Dram from the Christies. This Seawell Orly son is out of Westcarse Irene, a Maerdy Victorious daughter.

The second to make this price was Allanfauld Domperignon, an Allanfauld Vangogh son out of Allanfauld Umeg, a Gretnahouse Noel daughter.

Third transaction at this level came when the day’s pre-sale champion, Redheughs Daytona sold. This Balmyle Brinstone son is out of Redheughes Button, a Redheughes Sinatra daughter. And the final 4000gns bid was made for Thrunton Delgado, a Burradon Talisman son out of Thrunton Snowflake, a Mowbraypark Orlando daughter.
