Stirling Simmental bull championships

The overall championship here at Stirling in the Simmentals has gone to Copper Mill Admiral from P and C M Goldsbrough. This is a Milnaufa Keystone son out of Copper Mill Gillian’s Laura, a Copper Mill Gigantic daughter. He has a TSI of +15 and an SRI of +16 and was also senior champion.

Standing reserve was the reserve senior champion Blackford Apollo (lot 53) from Billy MacPherson. This is a Blackford Valmer son out of Blackford Tango, a Curlieu Knight daughter and has a TSI of +14 and an SRI of +17.

Taking the intermediate championship was Gouknest Andy Pandy (lot 83) from W D Smith. This Cairnview Snazzy son is out of Boswell Tulip, a Drumsleed Nato son and has a TSI of +24 and an SRI of +31. Reserve to him was Kilbride Farm Andrew (lot 84), from Billy Robson and Sons. This is again by Snazzy and is out of Kilbride Farm Laura 5V, a Lamhoj Supery daughter. He comes with a TSI of +32 and an SRI of +37.

In the juniors the champion was Killybure Actionman (lot 126), from Adrian Richardson and bred by  R S R Porter. He is sired by Omorga Murray and out of Killynure Linzi, a Killynure Jon-Jon daughter. Reserve to him was Woodhall Alabama from Hector MacAskill. He is by Annick Talisker and out of Woodhall Sumaya, a Woodhall Liqueur daughter and has a TSI of +23 and an SRI of +25.

Selling starts here at 1pm and the Charolais judging has just got underway, there may be some delay getting some of the Charolais results on here while I concentrate on the Simmental sale, so my apologies in advance for that, but I’ll try my best to keep you all up to date with the action from both the sale and show rings later on….
