Well I think the weather has managed to stay kind so far today – I must have brought the sunshine with me to Suffolk Show.

Overall it’s been a good show of sheep and pigs but entries are a little thin on the ground in the beef and dairy lines.

The sheep rings were led by Graham Allenby who took the overall title with his two-shear Charollais ewe and reserve with his shearling Hampshire Down ewe.

Beef cattle were dominated by native breeds with Hardwick Farms winning with their 2005 born Aberdeen-Angus bull Hawstead Lodge Eurevine and a Simmental Theberton Rose standing reserve from L J Dowley.

A Jersey led the dairy rings, while a Saddleback took the pig classes.

I’ve uploaded a picture gallery of the champions giving full details of section winners taken so far this morning and will add more later so keep looking back on here.
