Thomas Blunt continued his remarkable run of form in the sheep lines at Surrey County Show on Bnak Holiday Monday, taking his second interbreed award of the year with his Suffolk shearling ewe.

Taking the reserve spot was a Border Leicester tup from the Philip Whitcombe, Churt.

Among the beef lines it was the turn of the Aberdeen Angus champion to take top honourrs, this one being Aynho Prince Kincaid from the McLarens of Brackley, Northamptonshire.

Reserve beef interbreed meanwhile was the Charolais leader, Mortimers Urovision led out by stockman Charlie MacLean.

The dairy title was taken by Maggie Howie with her Ayrshire cow Douglas Admiral Molly which gave more than 8000 litres in her first lactation.

Taking top honours in the Beef Shorthorn classes were Messrs Brown with Grafton Broadhooks Angel.

And in the Highland classes it was a win for S Tedbury with their entry Bean Ruadh 16 of Munlochy.

Overall pig champion was David Overton with his Gloucester Old Spots gilt Exfold Princess 193.
