Swalesmoor take Charolais championship

Taking the overall male Charolais championship today was D Sawrij’s Swalesmoor Cupid. This embryo bred son of the 34,000gns Goldies Uppermost is out of Blelack Una and took the junior Charolais championship and junior interbreed at the Royal Highland Show this year.

Following him through from the interbreed section was William and George Whyte’s Hindstones Cruiser. By Trefaldwyn Valiant out of a homebred dam.

Senior champion: J H C Campbell and Sons’ Thrunton Camelot by Mowbraypark Orlando out of Thrunton Inspiration (I don’t have to eat my hat afterall!!!!!); res G Henderson’s Sandleford Curtis by Goldies Usher out of Sandleford Velvet.

Junior champion: S and D Bothwell’s Killadeas Charade by Dunlon Ulick out of Killadeas; res, Hamish Goldie’s Goldies Champion by Goldies Unbeatable out of Kinclune Pipper.
