Tamhorn Blues peak at 14,000gns
Bidding reached a top price of 14,000gns at the dispersal of Staffordshire breeders Danny and Jane Wyllie’s Tamhorn herd of British Blues when the August 2009-bred heifer Tamhorn Earlene sold to Co Tyrone buyer Richard Mobray. She is by Tamhorn Sumo and out of Gregmaur Brandy.
Tamhorn Edaline, from the herd’s most successful family tracing back to the foundation cow Glebedale Jane, made 7000gns. She is also by Ballygrange Alex and goes to Nottinghamshire buyer Miss Victoria Bowring.
