Texels take Royal Show sheep pairs title

The Texel duo, an aged ewe from John Forsyth and a tup from Messrs Goldie, Chave and Quick, have taken the interbreed sheep pairs title this morning at the Royal Show, with the Charolais duo from Charles Sercombe and Robert and Jean Gregory standing reserve.

In the interbreed team of three competition yesterday the winners were the Southdown trio from Messrs Wakeham Dawson and Harmer, these three are all by a Chaileybrook tup.
