New rules to combat bovine TB are making it more difficult for some farmers wanting to move livestock from field to field.

Ending an exemption on pre-movement testing last year means livestock producers must now check cattle for the disease whereas before they didn’t have to.

Industry leaders and the government believe the rules are a price worth paying in the battle against bovine TB. But some farmers are not so sure.
