A2 milk is a new product which will be available in UK supermarkets this September.
The milk contains a different protein to conventional A1 milk and can reduce certain types of milk intolerance.
The milk can command a higher price per litre than A1 milk, making it an attractive proposition to dairy farmers suffering in the current climate.
In Australia where the product has been sold for a number of years it has successfully taken a 6% value share of the milk market.
