Working dogs top 3,200gns at Lazonby sale

The closing dog sale of the year at Lazonby Mart resulted in a top price of 3,200gns paid for an October 2009 born bitch (pictured above).

Dot, consigned by Shaun Richards of Watson Laithes Farm, Hapton, was snapped up by Jim Fraser, Auchnarrow Farm, Glenlivet, Morayshire.

Mr Fraser also secured the second top price dog of the day – 11 month old dog Upland Moss from Pennant Williams of Pen-Y- Bryn, Treuddyn, Mold and made 2,400gns.
